Challenge
OACE – a highly hyped sportswear brand – faced the challenge of living up to the growing hype before launching their E-Commerce platform. The expected surge in visitors required a scalable infrastructure that guaranteed reliable performance right from the start. At the same time, it was necessary to define the brand identity and develop a design that met both the aesthetics of the brand and the functional requirements. The implementation of unisex products was particularly complex: these were not to be listed as separate items for men and women, but as a single product with differentiated display – depending on the selected gender.

Together with the OACE team, Datora first developed a clear corporate identity and implemented it into a custom Shopify Plus theme. A central element was the product presentation: for unisex products, users can switch between "Man" and "Woman" on the product detail page. Depending on the selection, the displayed images as well as the available sizes change – all within a single product. This clever setup ensures a consistent product experience without duplicate product maintenance. The shop was complemented by an interactive lookbook with a shop-the-look function as well as targeted cross-selling elements to increase the average order value. Technically and creatively, OACE was thus prepared for strong growth.
