Challenge
With the launch of the yuuni brand by influencer Nadine Wolf, one thing was clear from the outset: the shop had to be able to handle large numbers of visitors – especially during product drops and campaigns. Classic Shopify plans were not suitable due to the expected growth and strong community connection. In addition to technical scaling, a CI-compliant design was also required to underline the lifestyle branding. In addition, specific commerce functionalities such as a visual lookbook, cross-selling and an individually controllable variant system were to be integrated – the latter exceeds the native capabilities of Shopify.

Implementation
Together with the yuuni team, we rolled out the online shop directly on Shopify Plus to ensure stable scaling. Datora developed a completely customised theme that is tailored precisely to the brand's CI. A visually appealing lookbook with a shop-the-look function enables interactive browsing and adds an emotional touch to the product world. Customised cross-selling modules dynamically display matching products.
A technical highlight is a specially developed system for the targeted control and hiding of product variants – a feature that Shopify does not offer natively and was developed specifically for yuuni's requirements.
